The Iowa Sportsman Welcomes New Publisher, Aaron McKinney

Twin Rivers Media, LLC, announced today that Mr. Aaron McKinney has accepted the position of Publisher of The Iowa Sportsman Media Group. Aaron will immediately take over leading this highly popular outdoor activity media outlet.

Aaron McKinney personifies what it means to be an Iowa Sportsman, with years of experience in the field, he brings a hands-on understanding of Iowa’s outdoor recreation activities.   He began following his dad through Iowa’s fields, pheasant hunting and trapping at age 5.  Aaron is a level 3 certified archery instructor and an avid bow-hunter.   Perhaps his greatest joy is fishing, which he began years ago with his grandfather.  Most recently, McKinney was the manager of the Iowa Outdoors Store, where he learned about the outdoor industry’s wholesale and retail product side.

Gale McKinney, owner of Twin Rivers Media, LLC, stated, “Aaron is truly the definition of the Iowa Sportsman. He brings qualities and knowledge to the position that no one else possesses. He will be able to communicate from a level of expertise gained by practical knowledge that few have had the opportunity to obtain”.
