I’ve kept two dogs contained now with my system and they are worth every penny. One bit of advice- they come with instructions on how to train your dog to it the first couple of weeks to a month. FOLLOW THESE DIRECTIONS EXACTLY. I know several people who have installed these systems, and not done the training, and their dogs learn quickly how to get out. If they are trained properly, you won’t have this problem.WidowmakerParticipantSeptember 25, 2017 at 1:59 pmPost count: 358

I bought the Navionics chip for my Humminbird because I liked that I got all of Iowa, South Dakota, and Minnesota on one chip. Those are the three states I fish 99.99% of the time, and I loved the idea of having one chip that covered all my bases, not having to switch them out when I went to different states. I have to say it has worked out great for me. It has definitely helped me narrow down lakes to fishable spots, especially when I go somewhere new that I haven’t fished, or don’t fish very often. I have not used a LakeMaster chip, so I have no comparison to go off of.WidowmakerParticipantApril 6, 2017 at 2:39 pmPost count: 358
I bought the Mach II Speed Spin about a month ago, and so far, it’s my favorite spinning reel. It’s an $80 reel, so a little higher priced. I never thought I would ever spend that much on a reel, but I had a gift card, so I thought I’d try it. I now know why guys spend that much on equipment. It’s great.WidowmakerParticipantMarch 8, 2017 at 3:06 pmPost count: 358WidowmakerParticipantMarch 1, 2017 at 3:32 pmPost count: 358WidowmakerParticipantFebruary 6, 2017 at 9:45 pmPost count: 358WidowmakerParticipantFebruary 1, 2017 at 4:11 pmPost count: 358WidowmakerParticipantDecember 14, 2016 at 9:05 pmPost count: 358
I set mine up as a half rack, quartered towards me upwind of my stand. I’ve really had a lot of luck with them. One other tip – don’t put scent directly on the decoy in case you decided to use it as the opposite sex the next time. I usually spray all my scents on the ground around the decoy, or on a scent wick upwind of the decoy, or both.
