Well people and this may have already been mentioned.. but you can do a deer drive as a bow hunter or muzzy hunter.. you just cant shoot someone elses deer and use anothers tag, like during shotgun season..

speng ima kind of surprised at you for not endorsing selective harvest …??? you are right that they may clean out the bigger fish.. but why shud we as sportsman?? are we too greedy and just say take all u can, it wont last..,,, Please everybody use selective harvest dont decimate a new area because you can catch your limit one day and then complain about small fish the next year…

just a simple suggestion.. check any and all of the chips at a dealer or on the computer to see if they have a detailed map of the area you are going to fish..some have specific chips for the lotw and rainey area,,,

well many questions.. are you fishing from shore or in a boat on the lake? what time of year are you targeting?… walleyes move throughout the season.. most would tell you and i am included that if you want to catch them, try below the dams in spring and fall.. otherwise if you are fishing from shore, try a necked down area or current flow area ..it ain’t easy to say where there is a magic spot..

imo do not get a grill with a side burner.. they drain away from the grill and dont work that well in heating water for say sweet corn.. dont do it…

Jeesch…..I apologize to any bass fisherman that i may have offended … cant we have a little fun on this website anymore?? Asgrow srry.. carp are great… speng .. srry you need walleye training in a serious way…seek whatever fish you desire and try to become good at catching them.. that is a true sportsmans aim… BTW those 20 to 25 inch muskie really fry up good…. tasty!!! uh-oh…

op, you did not say what kind of trees?? if they are any type of evergreens.. do NOT put your garden near them they will basically poison it.. too much acid from them…
by accident one of my neighbors evergreens that he planted in a corner next to my garden.. just happen to die.. I did go over and cut the stump with my chainsaw though..

I would like to ask a clarifying question… are you the op asking for apps on your phone or ones that work on a true GPS unit?? Phone apps work in areas that have a lot of cell towers to estimate gps coordinates… GPS units use the satellites to determine a more accurate location… makes a hell of a lot of difference if you are out where cell towers are not plentiful canada, out west etc… on a true GPS unit you will use a pre-programmed map that will show ownership and boundaries.. and then use the satellites to determine where you are located on that map… big difference where there are few fences..

well a 15 to 17 inch walleye is prolly less than 4 years old and has not been in the polluted environment long enuf to have all the bad stuff leach into it…what gets me is that catfisher people will eat a 40-60 pound flathead out of the river that is at least 30 plus years old and has been swimming around in the mud/muck for that long.. IMO i think they shud put a length limit on cats so the trophy fish can still swim and while they are at it why not close the season on them when they go to wintering holes and only get snagged?? throw them back?? how about we dont fish for them same thing …

Well i might sound old here… but anyway.. go to the library, they should have all the in-fisherman books that educate you on how to fish for walleye in all bodies of water, times of year, and other conditions.. they also have many videos, now CDs about the same topics… I review mine often to remind myself of their tendencies.. Who you wanna trust the linder brothers?? or the internet experts… you know who the Linder brothers are, don’t you???
