I don’t have a purebred lab or female but do have 2 male puppies left. They’re black with some white markings. The mother is a purebred golden retriever and the dad is a chocolate lab/german shorthair mix.
They’re 13 weeks old, dew claws removed, all shots & wormer are up to date.StumpParticipantOctober 21, 2013 at 3:54 pmPost count: 198
Had my 10 year old out last weekend. Saturday, he didn’t get a shot and only saw 3 total.
Yesterday, he knocked one down in some thick CRP and we couldn’t find it. We were bummed, big time. He missed another one and we saw 2 more roosters and a hen.
We’re excited to get out again next weekend.StumpParticipantApril 9, 2013 at 9:34 pmPost count: 198StumpParticipantJanuary 11, 2013 at 6:42 pmPost count: 198StumpParticipantJanuary 11, 2013 at 5:58 pmPost count: 198
CT better consider vehicles that can exceed speed limits. Those are killers right there. They may need to make any vehicle that is capable of going faster than 55 mph illegal because it’s proven that speed kills more.
Isn’t it frustrating, the lack of common sense in this world.
In our area, we have a kid that was in prison, officials knew he had mental issues, he documented it himself yet he was released and his mother was murdered, apparently by him. Common sense would tell you to keep him in prison but he served his time and was free to go. This is not horrific as far as the number of victims but it is still a horrific incident for her family and friends. He didn’t even need a gun.StumpParticipantNovember 30, 2012 at 5:31 pmPost count: 198StumpParticipantOctober 23, 2012 at 5:07 pmPost count: 198
Just Iowa licenses for fishing/hunting in my wallet. Did purge 2011 & 2010 licenses.
Later, there will be tags for shotgun 1 andWayne co doe. Had turkey tag last spring.
Since I’m a cool dad, I also purchased 2 spring turkey tags, 2 youth season deer tags, oldest son’s hunting (just turned 16) and 2 more shotgun 1 tags.
Spendy hobby but worth every penny.StumpParticipantOctober 5, 2012 at 2:39 pmPost count: 198
We do a cream can feed when camping with a group of friends. One of my friends suggested adding a mystery item to stir everyone up. I was looking for pigs feet when I found USDA inspected pig ears. I couldn’t resist and spluged, $2.08 for 3 pig ears.
My wife had a fit when I threw them in the cream can. A couple of the adults were grossed out too and one mother was actually gagging as her sons gnawed on the ear. LOL! It was a little crunchy with very little flavor. Watching everyone’s reaction was worth it!
I was threatened so no more pig ears in the cream can. I’ll find something else just to keep everyone stirred up.StumpParticipantSeptember 24, 2012 at 7:55 pmPost count: 198StumpParticipantAugust 24, 2012 at 8:16 pmPost count: 198

Be patient but talk about it. You never know what may happen. My family experienced a theft earlier this summer. A friend of mine brought it up in a conversation and found an individual who had information. I obtained more information and now the law is going after it. I had written it off as being gone but now, there will at least be people held accountable for it.
Good luck with that. I had 7k worth of stuff stolen out of a storage facility last year when we were in the process of building a house. Within a week of it being gone my snow blower attachement for my John Deere popped up on Craigs list. I got the cops involved the guy said he traded another guy a tracker for it. The serial number had been removed, it is only a sticker. Cops said they have no way to prove it was mine when it obviously was.
maxx – There’s more to my story and I have the upper hand in our situation. It’s great how it all fell together and the law should be able to finish it out.
You have to be very frustrated with your situation. Several years ago, you could go thump a thief and not have to worry about getting in trouble but those days are long gone.StumpParticipantAugust 24, 2012 at 6:31 pmPost count: 198

We did the same thing: tent, pop-up, junky to cheap to nice and currently quad bunks & slide travel trailer. If we upgrade again, I will have the outside kitchen because I do most of the cooking when we’re camping.
Without knowing your situation and from my experiences, I would recommend outside kitchen on whatever you buy and if it works for you, skip pop up and go to a travel trailer.
Good luck on your decision and have fun.
