I run my small Weber off the 20lb on the camper with no problems. But I also use one of these http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000AMC5WO to refill the 1 lb bottles for other things. Might be another option for you.

Nice find. Spend some time using your machine and you will begin to hear what your detector is telling you. Quite often signals jumping all over the place will mean trash, but some of it could be “masking”. As in, an old nail is laying in close proximity to a desired target so your signals are jumping around. Yes, you will dig a lot of nails, pull tabs, bottle caps, and other random junk, but I’ve pulled some good targets this way as well. Discriminate iron on your machine so it’s not constantly chattering at you.

It’s not local, but http://bigboyshobbies.net/ is where I have bought all of my equipment. If you have any questions call up and talk to Bart. He will take care of you.

I was in the Ames store yesterday around 3 or 3:30. I ended up buying a 10/22 and my 5 boxes of 22lr. When I got there, they had just put 4 boxes of 9mm, 5 boxes of .223, and a case of remington thunderbolt 22lr on the shelves. When I left, both the 9mm and .223 was gone and about half of the 22lr was sold. I’m sure it didn’t last a whole lot longer after I left as there was a pretty steady stream of people each buying their limit.

I would say the sr9 was the trade. I just got sr9 that i kinda like 😉

Winner Winner chicken dinner!!! The SR9 is a sweet shooter….thats a fact. Im going to take the XD45 tact out in a bit to see whats she is like. That one may become abit of a monster if I get my way….. 😈

Are you doing a 460 Rowland conversion on the XD? If so, I’d like to hear how it turns out. I’ve thought about doing that conversion myself.

I’m sure all guns are different, but I had the exact same results as you yesterday afternoon. I switched to Blackhorn 209 this year, but sighted my gun in during the summer when it was plenty warm outside. I wanted to see if the cold would change POI on target before I head out this weekend. My first shot was about 5 inches high from point of aim at 100 yards. About 3 inches higher than I expected it to be. 2nd, 3rd, and 4th shots were all right on.

Unique and H110 are the two powders I use for my 44 mag. Unique will work well with your cast bullets. Save the H110 for your full house hunting loads. 23.5 gr H110 and a 240 gr XTP is bad medicine for deer.

Thanks a ton Skeeno!!! Any idea what I was goofing up?

You were leaving out the image tag at the end of the item location.

I used to own the Hi Point carbine in 9mm, and liked it a whole lot.

Actually when copied from photobucket it automatically puts the img tags on for you. That was your problem nitro, one too many img tags.
