Where do you go in Keosaqua for a steak dinner? There is still a small bait shop there along the highway in town isn’t there? Anybody?

Yes, there is a bait shop. It’s called Troublesome Creek. As far as steak goes, there is Riverbend Pizza & Steakhouse on the main drag.

If you can’t keep your dog at home you can’t complain when it is shot or ran over.

I agree if it’s an accident, but when someone does it on purpose it’s just wrong. Pets should be allowed to run free without having to worry about somebody hunting them down.

I will do that. Administrators, if you don’t agree with me doing this, just let me know, and I will take the link off.

I’d like to add that private land or public land, this act should not be tolerated! The guy obviously doesn’t have the frame of mind to be able to handle a firearm.

Thanks for posting this. I joined the group. What a sweet looking dog. It’s always sad when someone loses a family pet no matter how it happens. 🙁

I saw it yesterday and thought maybe I wasn’t seeing right. Glad to know I’m not totally crazy!

Ya think it would have been on the news or something?

I will be down near Bonaparte on Mother’s Day weekend. Would love for someone to show me how this is done. I’ve only fished the river a little bit but have never tried any snagging. Not even sure I have the right equipment for it.

    Here fishy, fishy, fishy.

But for some reason this doesn’t work very often.

My grandpa is famous for his “Heeeere fishy fishy fishy” 😆

Or when he wants to get specific he uses “Heeeere perchy perchy perchy”

    Maybe that’s what I’m doing wrong…

i had a very similar incident happen with my beagle she was messing around with my bank poles in the garage with heavy duty biggest freakin hooks youll see for flatheads and she got one straight through her nose we had to get a huge pair of bolt cutters to cut the hook out i feel sorry for her she 3 years old and has been hit by a bus, a van, hook through her nose, and most recently attacked by a coyote iits a miracle that dogs alive

I thought cats were supposed to have 9 lives, not dogs.
