Would you mind sharing the name of that public lake? I’ve yet to ever catch a crappie and sure would love to experience it. And may I ask what you were using for bait?

I always throw my fish back so if someone is out at the same time as me and wants em, I would gladly hand them over.

You can have a second unit, ie 2 tents or camper and tent, only if the second unit is for children under 18.

This is what I found on the DNR Site about State Campgrounds. I know that some non-state campgrounds have their own rules so you would have to check with them on an individual basis.

Camping is restricted to one basic unit per site – “Basic unit” or “basic camping unit” means the portable shelter used by one to six persons. Examples of a “camping unit” include tent, travel trailer, pop-up camper, motor home, etc.

So, either you are going to have to get more than one site or one BIG tent.

I actually found one on Craig’s List that is pretty awesome and only gonna cost my $90. It is used of course but seems like a very good camera.

Hopefully I’ll catch some big fish this weekend and will post some pictures!

I have 8lb Fireline Crystal on one of my poles and when I pulled it out the van the other day it was just like it had been cut. I have a hard time trying to cut it so I have no idea what the heck caused it. :question:

I have a nicer camera for when I need it. I would like to find one under$100 that I can take with me and not have to worry about beating it up too much. One that I could easily pull out of my pocket with one hand while holding my fishing pole in the other…

I went to one of the ponds at S’ville damn. Fish were very active. Caught a walleye, bluegill and 2 sheepshead. Nothing worth mounting but fun anyway.
