Custom Cutlery owns Leech Lake knives. The knives are still hand made by the people at Custom Cutlery with the same high standards as Don Canney did when he was alive. If you own a Leech Lake knife and it needs to be resharpened you can send it in and they will sharpen it for you. All they ask for is that you pay for the shipping to return to you. To make the shipping beneficial Mike at Custom Cutlery said if you have any other knives that need to be sharpened send along and they will be happy to sharpen all of the knives. Remington 870 I will email you the phone number I have for Mike.

Ship the knife to 401 E Pine St, Marengo, IA 52301 all they ask is you pay for the shipping back and Mike said if you have any odd or ends you want sharpen put it in with it and he would sharpen also to make the return shipping worth while. So what it cost to ship it to them include the return shipping and your info. Mike is the son who has taken over the company since father passed away.

I use round steak and ask the butcher ( I get mine at Hy-Vee) to slice it thin and he is always happy to do it for me. Seems the older butchers at Hy-Vee know more than some of the younger butchers. But if they like what they are doing they will watch how the older guy does it.
