Ive been looking at the Eskimo gas augers and cant decide which one to buy. Can someone with experience give me an idea of what the difference between the 33cc and the 43cc is?
I obviously know the 43cc has a bigger motor, but what advantage would that have over the 33cc? Would it just drill faster? Its $40 more so I dont want to pay the extra if I dont need it.
It would drill a little faster and weigh a little more. I have a 33cc and it still runs like a top. Kind of a wash. I personally don’t mind drilling a little slower to save a little weight.JELMParticipantDecember 14, 2016 at 8:09 pmPost count: 376JELMParticipantSeptember 30, 2016 at 1:36 amPost count: 376JELMParticipantSeptember 27, 2016 at 9:55 pmPost count: 376

Has anyone seen the goats that are near bays branch in Panora? There are goats that graze in the refuge as pat of some goat grazing program (I am assuming set up by the DNR). Not sure what that is supposed to do for the wetland.
Eat invasives that fire can’t get to. They can’t exactly recreate the disturbance buffalo had, so goats will have to do.JELMParticipantSeptember 12, 2016 at 8:09 pmPost count: 376JELMParticipantAugust 8, 2016 at 12:58 pmPost count: 376JELMParticipantJune 9, 2016 at 1:22 pmPost count: 376

I use Yamamoto Senko only. There are lots of different brands. They all behave differently. I like the Yamamoto brand because they are about the heaviest ones. I’m impatient. I also put a heavy 5/0 hook in them to make them sink even faster. Other brands I’ve tried just aren’t as heavy. If your wacky rigging it you could try an O-ring. It helps a lot. Also, FYI, stickbaits refer to hard jekbaits. Senkos are considered weightless worms category.
Some refer to them as stick baits as well. Senko is a copyright by Yamamoto so other companies can’t use the termJELMParticipantApril 18, 2016 at 9:19 pmPost count: 376JELMParticipantMarch 12, 2016 at 11:42 pmPost count: 376JELMParticipantMarch 4, 2016 at 9:44 pmPost count: 376
There is currently a bipartisan bill beginning to address this.JELMParticipantFebruary 16, 2016 at 5:50 pmPost count: 376JELMParticipantJanuary 26, 2016 at 11:30 pmPost count: 376JELMParticipantJanuary 19, 2016 at 1:30 amPost count: 376
Thank you to everyone that came out the the tournament at Big Creek on saturday. It was cold and the fishing was tough, but a couple teams were able to figure them out and bring in their 10 fish limits.
1st place – 3.82 – 10 fish – Nathan and Ken Henke
2nd place – 3.44 – 10 fish – Jamie Renshaw and Jacob Glass
3rd place – 1.70 – 5 fish – Curt and Mike Dvorak
