    I’m a meat hunter, so what ever has the biggest body gets shot. Usually that’s a mature buck, great, but would not hesitate on a monster doe.

    Congrats. Great story. I had 3 bucks come by me tonight all smaller than that. I got the market cornered on small ones, but in a couple weeks, 1 will get shot.

    Terrible. Lots of corn in. 5 of us never saw a rooster. Private land and have hunted it for 40 years. Never this bad. Hopes it gets better. North Central.

    Nope I have not. She must have been determined to have some. Pheasant hunting this weekend in North Central was very tough sledding. Lots of corn still in. Worst opening weekend I can remember.

    I agree if you got 6 inches it should be enough, but also agree most time it is a lot less in that area and looks like more.

    Grew up eating smoked carp and eating head cheese. I like my head cheese with vinegar and horseradish on it. Noting went to waste. Cooked with gravy or pickled chicken feet. That’s what I’ m talking about..num num.
