Having a dog loose in a car/ truck. Been there; with black lab in back seat. Don’t know what all happened during the wreck. ( longest 1-2 seconds of my life!) They found her at a farmers two miles from scene. Badly beaten up, but survived. Think carefully when doing this.

I would think that as long as they had stayed sealed, and not out in the sun much, they should be good.

Haven’t heard much about them lately Think most are after the panfish and walleyes.

The reports are good! You will have to deal with weeds coming down river tho. People are doing well on panfish, bass , and walleye, but you will have to do some searching. No one is giving specifics, but they are biting. Haven’t been on the water for two weeks 😥 ( family things!) All types of baits are working; from live bait to plastics.

Products with Deet, are bad news for plastics or painted surfaces. I used Deep Woods Off, but LEARNED to spray it AWAY from those things!

My wifes’ son in law does it. His rig is over legal length, but he was told,( off the record!!) that if you are staying with traffic they aren’t going to worry about it. Off the record!

I have a Shakespeare 6 1/2 but in a light action nice rod. Mine is paired up with a president 6730 and 2/8 braid ( with flouro leader). Had to much trouble with no control of fish ( not good on the Miss.) and hook sets with the UL. The line DOES make a world of difference for casting. This set up has handled 5 lb. northern and 3 + smallies. They were a hand full,( and fun!) but got them in.

I’ve fished by boat ramps just to watch the FUN ! Windy days can be a bear for every one, but when it is quiet, no current, and no body around can be hilarious. Best I saw was a guy thinking he didn’t need to set the emergency brake. Not good. Have to admit he was fast thought! Got in and drove it out before it was completely under.
