Having a dog loose in a car/ truck. Been there; with black lab in back seat. Don’t know what all happened during the wreck. ( longest 1-2 seconds of my life!) They found her at a farmers two miles from scene. Badly beaten up, but survived. Think carefully when doing this.delmutsParticipantNovember 6, 2017 at 1:49 amPost count: 525delmutsParticipantOctober 26, 2017 at 2:13 pmPost count: 525delmutsParticipantOctober 24, 2017 at 9:50 pmPost count: 525delmutsParticipantOctober 24, 2017 at 4:01 pmPost count: 525delmutsParticipantOctober 4, 2017 at 12:30 amPost count: 525delmutsParticipantOctober 1, 2017 at 11:17 amPost count: 525delmutsParticipantSeptember 29, 2017 at 11:26 amPost count: 525
The reports are good! You will have to deal with weeds coming down river tho. People are doing well on panfish, bass , and walleye, but you will have to do some searching. No one is giving specifics, but they are biting. Haven’t been on the water for two weeks 😥 ( family things!) All types of baits are working; from live bait to plastics.delmutsParticipantSeptember 23, 2017 at 12:19 amPost count: 525delmutsParticipantJuly 2, 2017 at 12:46 amPost count: 525delmutsParticipantJune 24, 2017 at 12:55 amPost count: 525delmutsParticipantJune 22, 2017 at 11:32 amPost count: 525
I have a Shakespeare 6 1/2 but in a light action nice rod. Mine is paired up with a president 6730 and 2/8 braid ( with flouro leader). Had to much trouble with no control of fish ( not good on the Miss.) and hook sets with the UL. The line DOES make a world of difference for casting. This set up has handled 5 lb. northern and 3 + smallies. They were a hand full,( and fun!) but got them in.delmutsParticipantJune 21, 2017 at 12:07 amPost count: 525
I’ve fished by boat ramps just to watch the FUN ! Windy days can be a bear for every one, but when it is quiet, no current, and no body around can be hilarious. Best I saw was a guy thinking he didn’t need to set the emergency brake. Not good. Have to admit he was fast thought! Got in and drove it out before it was completely under.
