Out duck hunting a couple of weeks ago and saw maybe fifty trumpeter swans fly over. First time I’ve ever seen swans in the wild. It was great.tetonParticipantDecember 21, 2018 at 5:34 pmPost count: 89
I have seen several groups of swans this fall and generally see some most years. They are a beautiful bird and it is always a treat to see them.mbrunsParticipantDecember 21, 2018 at 6:43 pmPost count: 21
I agree that swans are most elegant… until they get close enough that you can here them! Easily the dumbest sounding birds IMHOmedicdanoParticipantDecember 21, 2018 at 8:42 pmPost count: 4982
They are really coming back! There is about 200 wintering near Quincy, IL. Always in a borrow pit or nearby cornfield. So very cool!snowman1ParticipantDecember 21, 2018 at 10:21 pmPost count: 29
Been about 30 feeding a half mile north of my place in the corn stubble for about 2 weeks, wonderful birds they are elegant looking through the spotting scope. Montour area.
