Hey guys, for Black Hawk, Storm, Okoboji, etc…, are weedlines near steep drop offs the best place to start for a variety of species this time of year?  I know trolling dredge cuts can also be productive, but I am planning to use slip bobbers, jigs, and spinners for a mixed bag.

    Thoughts?

As far as weedlines go, there really is not one at Black Hawk at this point.  It’s all one big clump of weeds everywhere…it’s tough to use anything but weedless bass baits right now, and even those hang up in lots of grass.

Definitely target dredge cuts at Storm.  I’d guess trolling cranks would catch everything there.  Drifting/trolling leeches too.  East side by the island.

    I can’t speak on Boji.
