    While I’m grateful that I.S. is back up and running, I recall one reason for the extended downtime during the transition was to sift through all the spam posts and eliminate that from happening once the site was back up.  Now that the site is running on WordPress, please look at one of the many free Captcha plugins available to help mitigate the fake accounts and spam.  There’s plenty of them out there. Using Captcha on the registration page should cut down on spam accounts significantly. Here’s one example – https://wordpress.org/plugins/google-captcha
