I picked about five pounds of Turkeytail Saturday and found one Chaga in a Birch tree twenty feet up. A very good day.

That is it, I am buying a ‘shroom book. I may not eat them but at least I will have some names to go with what I run into.

I do have many books. Been growing mushrooms for twenty years. Still I do not believe every thing on the net. But http://www.mushroomexpert.com/ is very good

I only stick with the easy ones Morrells, hens and Oysters. I just don’t trust my experience enough to try some of the others although some sound really good.

Thanks for the link. I have two books but this looks good too.
