When buying and reloading brass does brass or nickel cases make any difference?

The nice thing about nickel is that it is easier to see in the grass when you are trying to chase down all the casings that your pistol has scattered about the countryside.

I just loaded up some .40 s&w for the first time. I used Unique. I’m going to try Blue Dot next. And I’m using Hornady 180 gr. XP/XTP. All I have are brass cases so can’t help with that. I reload .40, .45 acp, 9mm, and .357 mag. I’m thinking of getting into making my own lead bullets. Reloading has endless possibilities.
