Can anyone on here explain how to post pictures? It has been a long time since I have posted a picture and would like to share some photos on here. Thank you.

Try this or do the search at the top of the page.

For a photo to appear in a text message in a forum it must first be posted on the Internet. There are several free sites that allow you to post photos online. Photos can also be submitted to the photo gallery at Iowa Outdoors (see FAQ: How do I submit a photo to the photo gallery?)

Step 1. Post the photo somewhere on the Web.

Step 2. Get the Internet address for the photo. To do this view the image on the web and right click it to see its properties.

Step 3. Highlight its Web address from its properties and copy the address.

Step 4. Come back to the Iowa Outdoors forum and type in your message.

Step 5. Put your cursor in the text where you want the photo to appear.

Step 6. Click on the Img button above the block where you typed in the text. It will insert <img src=".

Step 7. Paste the address of the photo next to . (again be sure there are no spaces between the address and the quotation mark. You have now told the Iowa Outdoors site to place the image from its origional site into the text of your message.

Step 9. Submit your message.

As long as the photo remains at the address you indicated in your message it should apprear in the text of your message.

Nothing is working but thank you though!

click on the link in my post

click on the blue box right in the middle that says Choose Images
it will help you find the pics that are on your computer- pick the one you want, click Choose down in the bottom right corner, and then all the links show up

copy the one for Hotlink for Forums

it’s the easiest photo hosting site I’ve ever found

once you’ve done it you can do it in 30 seconds or less whenever you need a pic for a forum

(none of these people are me- just an example!)

Kinda related, does anyone think/notice Photobucket has gotten glitchy/laggy?? Seems that every computer I use to access it and also my phone, it takes FOREVER to click around and navigate that site and it freezes constantly. I think its the shockwave or whatever is running the excessive amount of real time animation on that site. Literally every time it takes several minutes to click through the library and each page following a click takes like almost a minute or more to load.
