    I got into some big pike Saturday on the Miss. and had a blast, and by Sunday they were gone already.

    Maybe we still have a few weeks where I might find them again.

    I pretty much think they are coolest fish in the midwest to go after.

    And pickled pike is a great snack to have around!

    Some of my fondest memories are of fall days duck hunting in the mornings and shore fishing for northerns with smelt in the afternoons.
