    This deer was shot by my buddy last Wednesday November 5th at 12:20. Proof of why you should stay in your stand all day during the rut. Gross score 167 3/8.

    Very nice deer and I thought the video was good. Congrats! Crazy tho on your interview in the stand after the shot the buck hanging out in the background. First I thought it was the decoy but don’t think decoys are that realistic. 4:50 on the video.

    Around 4:30 he takes a second shot and appears to whisper to the cameraman, “just don’t film it”. Not being a deer hunter myself, are second shots common? And why not film it?

    what are the racoons eating?? next to the decoy? some kind of food obviously.. seems a little.. i dont know what to say..

    He spined it and it was probably flailing around. No need to film that part in my opinion and I think it was a good decision.

    Raccoons were messing with our scent wicks.

    The first shot was a spine shot. Second one was fatal. Didn’t want that stuff on camera.
