I’m gathering up tackle for my upcoming Boundary Waters trip in September. High on my list are Lindy sinkers (bottom walker sinkers)….though one check at Cabela’s, and YIKES the price has really shot up since I last bought them….. 😯 ! Does anyone happen to know where I can find a good supply of them for less? I think I mainly need 1/4 and 1/2 oz sinkers in couple 50 packs….at cabela’s that would easily run me close to $30. Does Scheel’s carry them in a bulk bin (like they do with the jigheads)?
try this link to cabelas,50 count bags for a few bucks.

I’ll probably throw in a couple bottom bouncer type sinkers (with the long wire) for trolling along as we go from campsite to campsite, but when I locate fish on a specific piece of structure like a drop off, a ledge, weedline, etc I will deploy the traditional Lindy rig tipped with a crawler. Catches not only walleyes, but smallmouth, northern, etc.
