Heading up to lake pepin the first week of October. Never fished there before. I’m just looking for a little advice on where to go and what to use. Mainly after walleyes

We fished up there in July and caught a few walleye, crappie and bluegill and tons of drum. We launched at Pepin, Ws. Did a lot of trolling points on the Ws side and casted the rocky shorelines all along the tracks south of Lake City. RH

Depending on the water temp you may be better off heading to the north end of the lake. As the water cools the walleyes will make there fall trek to the dam. The can line at the north end can be good. Steep rocky shorelines are good also early and late. Have fun.
