I have decided to clean out the birds I had shot so far this season for our 8th Annual Boys Weekend Extravaganza. I thawed out wild turkey, dove and wood duck.
I have not tasted these yet as they are marinating, but the marinades and flavor combos will be spot on. Nothing was measured, just guessed.
Duck/Dove Steak bites
A-1 steak sauce
a heaping table spoon of freshly prepared horseradish
spoon full crushed garlicDuck/Dove Honey Ginger bites
Probably close to a table spoon of ginger
Table spoon + honey
Red pepper flakes
Spoon full of crushed garlic
Soy sauceBuffalo Wild turkey bites
Franks Buffalo sauce
Lots of GarlicThe center piece of this grilled meal
Wild turkey breast tri-flied and hammered thin
Provolone cheese
Sauteed wild oyster mushrooms
Carmelized onions
garlic
S&P,
dried basil and parsley from the garden
Rolled in 4 pieces of bacon.I will show pics after we get this stuff all grilled up. These will be too good not to share.
