    THINKING about building my own ice shack. DOES ANY MEMBER KNOW WHERE GUY COULD PURCHASE THE TYPE OF TRAILER THAT LOWERS TO THE ICE. OR WHEELS?

    iF i HAVE THE FRAME I SHOULD BE ABLE TO BUILD SOMETHING AS WINTER PROJECT. MAY INVOLVE SOME WELDNG, MEASURING AND CUTTING, BOLTING, ETC. Robbie

    Stayed in a sleeper with guide Tom Wilson on Leech Lake last year. Sleepers looked just like an Ice Castle, but he builds them himself. Said he got the drop axle trailers from someone fairly local and built everything on top. Probably exactly what you are looking for, except 7ish hours north of Des Moines. He was a very nice and helpful guy. Contact him and he can probably point you in the direction of someone selling what you want.
