Just look under the firearms forum, there was a thread a few days ago.

Give the biometric (fingerprint) ones a pass. They tend to have issues, or burn out in a year or two. They suggested the ones with buttons on them that you push in a certain order (gunvaults like this are identical to their biometric line, only cheaper).

I’ve also heard that the ones of this type which use no battery are the best.

I have to disagree with you on both cases. I can say anything on the GunVault branded ones, but the Imprint that I have been using for almost for years has worked flawlessly, and works just as perfectly today as it did the day I took it out of the box and set it up.

Do yourself a favor and scroll down through the reviews of Gunvault safes on Amazon:

Also, there is a company called Barska that gets better reviews for their biometric safes. I suggest you take a look at those if you really want a Biometric safe.

This is a great all-around video about gun safe’s. The best, most up-front and honest I’ve ever seen. The link here starts to where he talks about the personal protection boxes:

That’s just a cool video all about safes. He is selling these same Fort Knox brand as in the link below. Look at how thick they are, by comparison, to the gunvault product. I think Strauss Safe/Lock can get you one:

And because I also was researching Gunvault safes, I came across this. I will never buy one.
