Can anyone help me with any spots fishing for White Bass from shore at Saylorville? Last year I caught a lot of Largemouth south of the beach at Sandpiper and around the corner into the marina. I was out there last night and water is way high.

Until the water get back down to normal pool (around 836 ft) shore fishing may be a little difficult. You’re in the right place tho. The south side of Sandpiper beach is usually good for white bass in the summer, especially if you can get there when the shad are schooling just off shore (look for gulls). You’ll catch them hand over fist. Big Creek spillway is always a good choice, but may be tough to get to right now due to high water. Some fish from shore beneath Mile-Long Bridge, again water levels permitting.

There isn’t a ton of shore access. I’d visit a new one every trip. Sometimes the fish move up/down the lake quite a bit.
