I rarely post on fishing but this evening I had  great fishing on the Bighorn river near my home. Last couple of years it’s been poor fishing due to high water which kept reproduction to a minimum. I waded some slow water on public Access catching a large 4 or 5lb brown trout on my third drift with a parachute Adams.  Took me 25 mins to net him. May flys were all over. I released the brown and hooked another fish that ran and broke off. About 30 mins later I hooked another big fish. I played him for 10 mins before he got off. I missed a couple of slurpers and then hooked a big rainbow. He ran and had me to my backing. I fought him for 15 mins before landing a nice 5 or  6lb fish. I released him and spent nearly 5 minutes reviving him before he slowly swam off.  Best evening of catching big fish in two years.
