    Hello,
Anyone know what is up with the Coralville res being so low ?
Just lack of rain/snow pack, or is Corps expecting big flow coming down ?
    Thanks

I don’t track the res levels very closely these days, but from my memory bank…it is common for it to be so low at this time of the year that you could not traverse much of it unless you were in the channel. Mud flats everywhere and A LOT of places where it is less than a foot deep. I forget the date, but they purpose to hold it low so as to be able to absorb spring rains and/or snow melt off. Somewhere around mid-May or so they will start holding more water back to create recreation pool.

It’s right at normal pool for this time of year I believe.

x2. I’ve noticed in most years past, the res is at the lowest level between most schools’ spring break and Easter. Aka right now.
