Does anyone have any recommendations for boat service in western IA? Have some repairs that I need to have done and I’m trying to find a reputable place to have it done, thanks.

Shamrock in Carnarvon or Blackhawk in Lake View have both been good to me.

I bought a sheet of aluminum the right size and thickness, glued outdoor carpet or boat carpet on aluminum and laid it down. Was not too hard to do. Cut aluminum to size with a regular power saw and a jig saw for tight turns and corners. Was lucky and did not even have to fasten it down. In 3 minutes I can unscrew my console and lift the whole thing out.

Also I have had decent luck with JB Weld for smaller holes.
