Can I use a portable burlap blind (2’ x5’ tarp)while hunting turkey on Iowa public land? What I see in the regs seems to say only natural vegetation can be used and the regs also seem to state that portable blinds need to be removed before the season starts.

    Thanks

Nevermind. I reread the regs for about the 4th time and realized I misinterpreted things. The number of times I’ve read the regs, figured out what the rules are, then gone back and read the regs again and realized I had it completely wrong really blows my mind. I’ve made mistakes with walleye regs, apprentice and youth hunting regs, blinds.

That happens to us all.  When in doubt ask your CO and hope he’s got it right.
