I have shot a couple bears and I have always just cooked it like a beef roast in a *censored*pot with vegetables. I couldn’t tell the difference from beef once it was done. I believe it is all about taking care of the meat after harvest. If the person took care to get it cooled down quickly and kept clean then it should be very good eating.gellarParticipantSeptember 29, 2016 at 2:15 amPost count: 283
I have kind of a weird question. Did you get this bear roast today and was it near Lansing?
Cook bear meat to 165 trichinosis is bad deal.
I would try this recipehttp://www.mountaingirl.camp/recipes/bear-roast-recipe/
