    Called one in that was 50 pounds, biggest one I’ve ever shot. Looked like a calf on full feed.

    There are some. Not many, but they are here. There are also some, larger than 50. I’ve read from a few Biologists. The purebred coyote will average between upper 20’s-40 lbs. That may be true?  I believe some coyotes here in Iowa have domestic dog in their lineage. I’ve seen a handful that were not all coyote. It was obvious to me.
